This is the Model Comprehend RX-104 Penelope Gundam. This kit is supposed to be in the HG scale or 1/144th, but knowing MC this kit is probably slightly bigger. This kit came out way before the Bandai version of the kit, which makes this another case of a third party company doing what Bandai should be doing in my opinion. We do not need/want 86 versions of the Unicorn, we want releases of kits we either need new builds (like an updated MG GP01 and GP02) or kits of mobile suits that there is currently no release of (like an MG/HG Aries or Tarous).
What is cool about this kit and probably what makes it worth the effort to build is the massive sheet of water slide decals you get (bigger than an 8.5 x 11 page) and a display stand. In no version of this kit (Bandai or bootleg), will it ever not be a brick kit. The main body of the kit, without the armor, has typical range of movement you would expect from a basic HG design. That all goes away when you put the armor on. Because of the poly caps and the mounting points of the armor, the frame either lacks the range of movement needed or the strength to hold any pose of interest.
There is a decent amount of detail in the kit, but there are some weird void areas under the armor that will probably look a lot better on the Bandai version.
Another bonus of the MC version of the kit you get these funnel/shield bit type parts and display arms for them. I do not know a lot about the Penelope, but this is something that Bandai has not included in their version. Either way, as a brick, this kit looks very cool with all of the decals on it.
